Sincere Faith (1 Timothy 1:5)

When we seek to prove our faith in God to man, it becomes a self righteous work of flesh not simple confidence in God and His unconditional love, limitless wisdom, and unrivaled power. This show of faith trends to presumption-self will and degenerates to foolishness. It leaves one vulnerable to the deceptive tactics of the enemy of our soul who craftily shapes temptations to take captive those who give him place thru love for the praise of men and Idolatry of self will.

Your heartfelt and unpretentious faith in God pleases Him. Have faith in God to yourself; not as an open show. If we are exhibitionist for men that is the reward; the attention of man and self exaltation for all the good that does. Whereas when faith is towards and before God in and from the heart, the One who looks on the heart and sees in secret, Who has said I AM your exceeding great reward, promises to reward openly. In such a life of like precious faith received from our Lord Jesus Christ, our lives and voices become a witness of faith in Him and our faithfulness in lifestyle is evidence of our confidence that He both exists, and is a rewarder of all who diligently seek Him.

The Lord Jesus will return to find the answers to whether sincere and persistent faith greets Him here in the earth. May we welcome Him at His return with like precious faith. (Refs: Romans 14:22, Hebrews 11:6, Genesis 15:1, Matthew 6, Luke 18:8)
